This fitting was made during the time Mr. Tonchen worked for the company. I'm told that these fittings are recognizable because of the notched seam in the threaded section of the fitting. This seam is facing forward in the photo, but unfortunately it is not as visible as I would have liked. It's also my understanding that there were sometimes issues keeping the threaded part round enough for the nut to screw on during the threading process.
